What We Collect

• Email address — provided when you submit a scan. Used to deliver your results and optional follow-up emails.
• Website URL — the URL you submit for analysis. We crawl publicly accessible pages only.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us: we never see or store them.

How We Use Your Data

• To perform the FAQ analysis you requested
• To send your score and follow-up emails (you can unsubscribe)
• To deliver purchased reports
• To improve the analysis engine (aggregated, anonymized data only)

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis engine. Your website content is sent for analysis but not used for model training.
• Cloudflare — Web crawling and scraping infrastructure.
• Stripe — Payment processing. WhatTheFAQ is the seller; Stripe processes the payment. Refunds are issued through Stripe.
• Resend — Email delivery.
• Neon — Database hosting (PostgreSQL).
• Vercel — Application hosting and analytics (cookieless, privacy-friendly).

Data Retention

Scan results are retained indefinitely so you can access your reports. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe from drip emails. You can request deletion of all your data by emailing us.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. For data deletion requests, contact us at the email below.

Cookies

We use Vercel Analytics which is cookieless and does not track individual users. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
